COMPREHENSIVE TECHNIQUE: 12 week course to outline and identify the actor's
tools through a combination of lecture and practical exercises.
By placing focus on the development of concentration, emotional
recall, basic script analysis and characterization, the actor
will acquire a method of approach for all aspects of acting (ie.

THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN HOMEWORK
AND REHEARSEL: This class teaches
the student how to apply the tools and technique learned in Basic
Technique class to scene work. Emphasis is on developing a step-by-step
process and understanding of how to apply the technique from
first reading to rehearsal to performance.
INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED SCENE STUDY: This class is an ongoing application of the principles
set forth in Basic and Intro. Students prepare scenes for critique
and continue to work on them until objectives are satisfied. INTENSIVE
AUDITION/INTERVIEW WORKSHOPS: Cold reading, interview skills,
presentation, songs, monologues

to give basic skills of speech, improv, scene work and audition
technique. Special focus on freedom of expression and play. PALM

Drama consultant for the district. Taught high school, alternative
school and elementary drama with the focus on communication skills
and conflict resolution. The students also wrote and performed
